Dec 15, The bushings are two metal sleeves, one inner and one outer, separated by a rubber layer. Using a torch (outside of course) I burned the tip of the swing arm where the rubber was exposed. The rubber soon caught fire and with the continuous flame of the torch the rubber bubbled up and burned out in a few minutes - all from the tip of the swing Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins.

OP. MikeG. Britbike forum member. Swing arm, Rear, Black (May have some shelf wear), Bushing type, BSA, A65, A50,/, NOS BSA. Jul 23, I just left them in when I got it done, but now when I riding it the back feels squirrely when you give it gas or engine brake. Inspecting the rear tire all is secured but when I kick the tire I can see the swing arm move left and right.
I havent ripped the swing arm off yet, but i assume the bushings are toasted thats giving the play.
